About

Why "44"? This number, along with "4" and "444", keeps appearing to me everywhere I go. It's not unusual to be driving and have at least six to eight cars in front of me with those numbers on their license plates. The apartment where I used to live was number "441"; my phone number contains four 4s, "44" appears on the back of some of my favorite baseball players, and so on. According to all the numerology information I've investigated, 4 is a good number. It's not under my control, though. For years, I waited for something to happen when I finally reached 44, and now I don’t even remember where I was on that birthday. And, no, the number doesn’t work with the Lotto.

Apart from that, if I had to describe myself, I would prefer to be remembered for my far-from-perfect efforts to be a good father and loyal friend, my sometimes unnerving OCD tendencies, and the unfamiliar –even to me– things I do and then end up asking myself why I did them. However, I'm an architect by trade, a photographer, a graphic design enthusiast, and sometimes a writer – by choice or boredom. Among other things, I also like history, art, design, reading non-fiction, listening to almost all types of music (no… no, not that one), learning things, traveling (which, unfortunately, I can't do much of), eating olives and shrimp, talking to my dog, and fish – in general.

As a side note, this site will contain information and texts in Spanish and English. Sorry for the purists... It's all about how I feel at the time I sit to write and not a statement of any kind. And, it helps me practice "el difícil"...
